Procedures for issuing 9A call signs to foreigners (Ham radio operation in Croatia) A foreign national - ham radio operator, with a valid CEPT license - issued by his/her native country, is allowed to operate in Croatia for the maximum period of 3 months. The use of call sign is the following: 9A/original call sign . If a foreign national - ham radio operator with a valid CEPT license - wishes to apply for and use a Croatian call sign, he/she should do the following: 1. Foreign national - ham radio operator applies for a 9A8 call sign with HRS Croatian Amateur Radio association. 2. HRS Croatian Amateur Radio association issues an appropriate 9A8 (+ 2 or 3 letters) call sign, as per communications regulations (Amateur Radio communications regulations, NN official gazette vol. 198/03 and. 3/04), as well as HRS's own regulations (Issue of call signs by HRS). 3. HRS Croatian Amateur Radio association provides every month a copy of all issued call signs to the Croatian Agency for Telecommunication. |
