During HAM RADIO exhibition in Friedrichshafen 2006, president and secretary of IARU Region 1, had a meeting with representatives of HRS.

President of IARU Region 1, Ole Garpestad, LA2RR, and secretary of IARU, Don Beattie, G3BJ, had a meeting with member of IARU Executive Committee Nikola Percin, 9A5W, and HRS president Petar Milicic, 9A6A. They discussed about organization of General Conference IARU R1, which will be held on November 16 - 21, 2008 in Cavtat, Croatia. Also, they spoked about Central European regional meeting which will be held on October 14 - 15, 2006 in Zagreb. On meeting will be present presidents of national societies from Central European countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Italia, San Marino, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
